Bison vital/ancestral blend Honey Garlic Meatballs

Honey garlic meatballs made with our Bison Vital/Ancestral Blend are a total win!

Our Bison Vital/Ancestral Blend is ground bison mixed with bison liver, kidney, and heart, giving you more nutrient dense meat without a strong organ flavor.

Roll them up, cook them off, add any sauce you love, and BAM…a simple, crowd friendly, high protein appetizer!

Hint: If you don’t have vital blend, you can use regular ground bison.

Ingredients:

Honey Garlic MEATBALLS

  • 2 lbs Bison Vital/Ancestral Blend

    • 2 eggs

    • 4 cloves garlic, minced

    • 1 tsp salt

    • ½ tsp pepper

    • 1 tsp garlic powder

    • 1 tsp onion powder

    • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

    Honey Garlic SAUCE

    • ½ cup honey

    • ¼ cup tamari or coconut aminos

    • 2 tbsp vinegar

    • 2 tbsp olive oil or butter

    • 4 cloves garlic, minced

    • pinch salt and pepper

Directions:

1. Mix meat, eggs, garlic, and seasonings.

2. Roll into meatballs.

3. Brown in a skillet until cooked through.

4. Whisk sauce ingredients and simmer 3–5 minutes.

5. Toss meatballs in sauce and coat.
