Harlow Family Bison Heart Recipe – Cream of Mushroom Style
Ingredients
1 heart (about 2 lbs) chopped into one-inch chunks – Split and remove all vents and ducts and other white membranes.
1 pint fresh mushrooms, halved
4 cloves garlic chopped
1 medium onion chopped
Directions
Add all these ingredients to the slow cooker.
Mix together and pour over the meat:
1 pint organic cream
2 T “Better than Bouillon” beef flavored
Salt and pepper to taste
Cook on low 6 hours.
Serve over rice.
