Bison meat is has delicate flavor sometimes called “earthy”, but never “gamey”. Compared to beef, bison meat is leaner (lower in fat), higher in protein and other vital nutrients such as iron.

Bison can be prepared just like any other red meat, but take care not to overcook it as it’s lower fat content means that it cooks faster and can become tough when overcooked.

We proudly raise the bison right here on our ranch, which our family has stewarded for more than 100 years. The ground and water is clean, the soil is monitored, and we are vigilant about the entire herd’s well-being. Let’s just say that we were personally acquainted with each bison in our freezer, prior to their trip to our local state-certified butcher.

We offer shipping with 2-3 day ground shipping. The checkout option for shipping has a base fee and then an invoice will be provided after with the rest of the shipping cost.

We offer regional in-person delivery. A roughly 160 mile radius from the ranch with regular once a month deliveries to Northern Idaho, Kalispell, and Missoula.
